Beverly Bradley
Beverly is a native of Newark, New Jersey. She became a member of the Newark Church of Christ at a very young age having been baptized under the teachings of her mother, the late Sis. Annie Farrow and the great evangelist, Dr. Eugene Lawton. She is a faithful member of the church of Christ.

She is a graduate of Arts High School in Newark, a school specializing in music and art; a graduate of Southwestern Christian College and a graduate of the University of Houston, where she received a bachelor's degree in Music Education and Vocal Concentration.

While at Southwestern, Beverly sang with the renowned acappella chorus and was very fortunate to study under the direction of the late A. Hugh Graham. She is a former member of the Easternaires, a nationally known youth chorus that had its beginnings in the Churches of Christ in the New York/New Jersey area. She was inducted into The Hall of Fame at Southwestern Christian College on November 18, 2011.

Beverly has been a music educator in several school districts and has earned many awards; she is certified to teach music to students from pre-school through twelfth grade. She currently teaches music at Rosa Parks Elementary in Fort Bend ISD and she is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association. Beverly has completed Level One and Two of the ORFF- Schulwerk Course. She also has a certification of completion for Kodaly Level One, Two and Three. She has experienced singing in other languages such as Italian, French and German.

Beverly is a dedicated and accomplished choral director. Over the years she has played an integral part in directing local and national groups within the churches of Christ. In 2008, SWCC awarded Beverly the “I Too Image Award,” for being a Distinguished Music Director. She is also a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America-Houston Chapter.

Beverly was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 30; she is the mother of Christopher Moten (Angela) and the grandmother J’den, Lena, Christopher and Joshua. She enjoys sewing in her spare time.
