Harold L. Robinson is a native of Dallas, Texas and has enjoyed a rich musical history, especially in gospel music. His parents, the late Maynard & Jessie Robinson both were gifted in music and passed that gene on to him and his siblings. Being reared in the church of Christ, Harold has been featured on many Acappella recordings. Nurtured by his loving and devoted maternal grandparents, the late Evangelist A. Bowdre, Sr., & Clyde Bowdre, and his paternal grandparents, the late George & Jimmie Robinson, he waxed in favor with God and man and was taught the principles of servitude. He was a singer and soloist with the renown and accomplished musician, writer, arranger, minister of song and acclaimed lyricist, Sylvia Rose at Southwestern Christian College in 1975. Dr. Rose is also a mother to many of her students, including Harold. He was also a student director with the influential and beloved psalmist, the late Professor A. Hugh Graham also at Southwestern. Harold has traveled these United States and in Bermuda, singing and conducting workshops and has been in demand as a Worship Leader at many conventions, conferences, church events and civic programs. In 2000, he retired from Parkland Hospital in Dallas and help his Pastor and friend, the late Dr. Reginald B. Dulin, plant the Central Pointé Church in Dallas. He currently serves as the Minister of Music/Church Administrator, under the dynamic and powerful leadership of Dr. R.B. Dulin’s son, Pastor Rodney Dulin, and is awed at the power of God as He continues to work miracle after miracle bringing men and wom-en to Christ through this young preaching and ministering vessel! In 2007 & in 2008, Harold spearheaded the Acappella Worship Leaders & Choral Music Conference at the Central Pointé Church in Dallas. He is the executive director of this Conference.
